Hi! I’m Laurie Berglund, and I’m a nurse practitioner who helps kids, teens, and families feel better—from head to toe and heart to feelings.

When you come see me, you can expect a safe place where you can talk, ask questions, and even be nervous (that’s totally allowed). My job is to listen, help you understand what’s going on with your body or brain, and make a plan that works for you—not just a “one-size-fits-all” plan.

I work at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha, where I help care for kids in the Foster Care Program and on the Children’s Advocacy Team. That means I often help kids who’ve been through big, tough stuff. I’m part of a team that makes sure kids have the support they need—medical care, mental health care, and people in their corner.

I also see patients at Second Hope, where I am able to practice independently and use my skills to help others in the community that are suffering from mental illness.
